- Alabama Pastel Society
- The Alabama Pastel Society was founded in October 2000. The goal is to increase the public awareness and acceptance of pastels as a serious painting medium through workshops, exhibitions, slides demonstrations and demos. Workshops will feature well-known professional artists and instructors. The Alabama Pastel Society is a non-profit organization.
